You may check in at 4:00 PM. Check Out is at 11:00 AM. 

+ Do you allow smoking on property?

Hotel on Rivington is committed to providing its guests and associates with a smoke free environment. Smoking tobacco, pipes, vapes, e-cigarettes and marijuana are strictly prohibited within the hotel. A non-refundable $250 smoking fee will apply should a smoking event occur inside the hotel guestroom. 

+ Can I bring my pet with me?

We do welcome pets, but there is a fee of $75 + tax per room per stay. Pets are not to be left unattended in the rooms and on hotel property. maximum of two pets permitted, house rules/pet policy applies. 

  • Pets weighing over 75 lbs. are not allowed on the property 
  • Pets must be kept on a leash or in a carrier while in any public area 
  • Except for service animals, as defined under the Americans with Disabilities Act, we do not permit pets in the lounge/restaurant. 
  • Emotional Support animals are also not permitted in the lounge / restaurant since they do not qualify as a service animal as defined under the ADA 
+ Do you have a fitness center?

We have a full fitness center on property, located on the third floor of our hotel, which includes state-of-the-art fitness bikes, treadmills, free weights, and weight machines. 

+ Do you have a business center?

We do not have a dedicated business center. However, printing services are available—please email your documents to frontdesk@hotelonrivington.com. We offer up to 15 black-and-white pages free of charge; additional pages are $0.10 each. 

+ Can I have a package sent to the hotel? What are the fees?

Yes, we accept packages sent to the hotel. They will be stored in our package room, located in the lobby. We offer complimentary storage for up to five small or medium-sized

+ Can I store my luggage?

We hold luggage before check in time and after check out time, up to about 11 pm. No overnight storage. 

+ What is the minimum age requirement to check in to the hotel?

21 years. All guests under the age of 21 must be accompanied by an adult. 

+ Are there coffeemakers or refrigerators in the room?

At this time, we do not offer coffeemakers in the rooms. However, complimentary coffee and tea are available daily in the lobby from 6:00 AM to 11:00 AM. 

Refrigerators are available in all guest rooms. 

+ What is the Facility Fee?

Hotel on Rivington charges a mandatory facility fee of $45.00 plus tax per room, per night. This fee includes the following services and amenities: 

  • $10 daily food & beverage credit at KinGin Lobby Bar (open Tuesday–Saturday, 5:00 PM–10:00 PM; Fridays and Saturdays until 11:00 PM) 
  • Lobby wine hour on Sundays and Mondays from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM 
  • Complimentary coffee and tea served daily in the lobby from 6:00 AM to 11:00 AM 
  • 24-hour gym access 
  • Complimentary bottled water available in the lobby 
  • High-speed Wi-Fi throughout the hotel 

 

+  What is your credit/debit card policy?

Debit and credit cards will be authorized at check-in for the entire amount of your stay, plus $100 per day to cover incidentals. The system will hold the funds until check out, at which time the amount actually incurred during the stay will be charged. The original authorization amounts may take up to 30 days after departure to be released by your bank or financial institution and the hotel will not be responsible for any resulting fees or charges. 

The destination fee of $45.00 + tax is taken out of the $100.00 per night deposit, therefore the guest will not receive the original deposit back. The balance of the funds will be released.

Hotel on Rivington does not have on-site parking. However, there are several convenient parking options nearby:

+ Does your hotel offer Wi-Fi?

Yes, complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel, including all guest rooms and public areas. 

+ Does your hotel have a Rooftop?

Yes, Hotel on Rivington features a rooftop event space with stunning views of Manhattan. Please note that access is limited to private events. Guests may not access the rooftop unless attending a scheduled event. 

+ What are the Bar timings?

KinGin Lobby Bar is open: 

  • Tuesday to Thursday: 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM 
  • Friday & Saturday: 5:00 PM – 11:00 PM 
  • Sunday & Monday: Closed, but enjoy our complimentary wine hour in the lobby from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. 
+ Do you offer breakfast?

Yes, we offer a continental-style buffet breakfast daily from 7:30 AM to 10:00 AM in the KinGin Dining Room. The cost is $29 per person. 

The buffet includes a rotating selection of pastries, granola, yogurt parfaits, fresh fruit, juice, coffee, and tea—along with a cold plate featuring cheeses and sliced cured meats such as ham and salami. 

+ Do you offer rollaway beds or pull-out couches?

Rollaway beds are available for $50 per night, subject to availability. Please note, our rooms do not include pull-out couches.

+ Are there subway stations nearby?

Yes, the Delancey/Essex Street subway station is just a 3-minute walk from the hotel and offers access to the F, M, J, and Z lines, making it easy to explore the rest of New York City. 

+ What is there to do in the Lower East Side?

The Lower East Side is known for its vibrant culture, eclectic dining, and nightlife. Guests can explore art galleries, live music venues, speakeasies, and iconic restaurants. 

+ Where can I find good coffee or brunch nearby?

Great spots within walking distance include Caffè Vita, Clinton St. Baking Company, Good Thanks, Sonnyboy, and Dudley’s—all local favorites in the Lower East Side.

Guests love Katz’s Delicatessen, Tenement Museum, Essex Market, and local speakeasies—all within walking distance.
